So, also while in Utah my eldest had her second birthday!
She was very excited. Can't you tell?
Did I mention how hard it is to take a picture of her? Unless you are holding a can of whipping cream (which I discovered AFTER her birthday)
This was by far one of her favorite presents. A bike from Grandpa Anderson!
Unfortunately it wouldn't fit in any of our suitcases, so she'll just have to wait until we move back sometime this year!
She had more fun building a tower with the presents (and knocking it down) than she did opening them!!
L's favorite part was the balloons. I get tempted sometimes to just go out and buy one so she'll be quiet for a little while!
Since we were in Utah over her birthday we didn't really bring her presents (well one or two) so that we didn't have to bring them back. Suitcase space is very precious. So when we got back home we celebrated her birthday again.
E LOVES to help in the kitchen so we wanted to get her a kitchen set for her birthday, but they are so expensive. I would love to have built one, as is the trend now days, but we don't have a yard or a garage to do that. So one day I was just looking out the window and found this little beauty sitting next to the dumpster. Yes the dumpster. We went and checked it out and aside from a few crayon scribbles it was in very good condition, so we brought it in and cleaned/disinfected it! I was very proud of my thrifty-ness!
I had also made her a quiet book like a year ago, but made it a little too advanced. So she got it THIS year for her birthday!
Anway, we love our little munchkin. She is so loving, stubborn and has a lot of spunk!
And we love her very much!
How cute! We did the same thing with a plastic "house"... we even painted ours. And then gave it away when we moved. The girls still remember it.
