Elder May is Home!

Davis is home! Yea!! It was so fun being able to go to the airport and see him!  Hasn't changed much.  Just more tan, skinnier and obviously more mature as most missionaries are when they come home.  I also got to see an old roommate at the airport who's cousin was also getting home!  It was fun!  Anyway...so you probably want to see pictures! Well...in the happiness of the weekend and trying to remember everything to pack for coming back home I left my camera at my mom's house! :(  Sorry!! We will see them again on the 3rd of July so guess you'll have to wait until then!

Messy Eater

So...we all know that Emma is a messy eater.  Ya...nothing has changed in the month since we started her on baby food.  She is still VERY messy!

We've started giving her a bath every night.  Not because it helps her with a routine and going to bed, but because if we don't she sleeps with food in her hair, ears, nose, etc.

Now I'm sure many of you must think I just don't know how to feed my baby.  And while I am still pretty new at this I promise...she's just messy.  Even my mother thought I was just "inexperienced" until she fed Emma...she has since changed her thought.
I think I'll challenge people this weekend when we go visit for Davis' homecoming (that's right! He's coming home THIS Thursday!! Like in 3 days!!!) to see who can feed her the longest without getting messy!

Videos

Sorry its been a while.  I tried to upload these videos a few days ago, but it wouldn't let me!  Anyway...we've been experimenting a lot with baby food...so sorry for the barrage of videos...but oh well.  She's cute. :)
She loves squash...notice how her arms shake when you hold the spoon too long!

Here's the peas. Notice the start contrast between squash and peas.  But have you smelled mashed up peas lately?  Who can blame her?
She also had bananas.  I won't bore with all the videos...but basically bananas was a mixture between squash and peas.  She ate the first few bites, then was repulsed by the last few.  It took 3 different times for her to eat that jar/container.  And she still didn't finish it all.

And the final video...bath time!  We had to wash her bath chair but it was still in the wash during bath time.  Tyler was at class so it was just me home...and babies are very slippery in the tub.  So I drained the water so it wouldn't reach her ears and just layed her down!  She loved it!  She thinks she's a swimmer.
She's definitely a water baby!!  It will be fun to take her swimming...sometime.
