The Piano

So if you know me very well (before the last life 5 years) you would know that I play the piano...and I LOVE it!  There is just something so stress-relieving playing a song to get out all of your pent up emotions.  And people can do some pretty awesome things with the piano (have you heard of The Piano Guys? LOVE them!)

Anyway, since I've been married I haven't had a lot of opportunities to play...unless its your primary calling or something!(...but you can't really pound out "I Am a Child of God" in primary if you know what I mean!)
But this Christmas I (or we) were given a piano.  It's actually a keyboard, but not the crappy types of keyboards that actually sound like keyboards.  This "keyboard" actually sounds like a piano!  It is truly amazing!
Early December Tyler got a phone call asking if we had any talents.  haha!  Actually the ward was doing a talent show for their Christmas party and they wanted to make sure everyone who wanted to participate could participate.  So while we thought it a funny question too, Tyler replied that he sang...but not solo...and I played the piano...but hadn't touched one in a very long time (unless it was in the Children's Song Book)...so we would rather not participate in the talent show. :)  A few days later Tyler got an e-mail from a sweet couple in the ward asking if they could buy us the piano/"keyboard".  They knew we lived in apartments and would still be moving around the next few years and this would be easier to move than a real piano.  Of course we said yes!  I almost cried!...which if you know me you know that means something!
So now we have a piano...and I LOVE IT!  It brings happiness to my soul...

And to my toddler.

L: 4 Months Old!

Again, sorry for the onslaught, but this will probably be the last post for a while...unless I find more pictures somewhere.  1) because life has settled back to boringly normal and there really isn't more to post about and 2) I left my camera charger in Utah and my camera is now dead, so I can't take more pictures until Tyler brings it back in a few weeks. BUT L turned 4 months at the beginning of January!
She's 12 lbs 10 oz, and 23 1/4 inches, and still has a big head...90th percentile!  Haha!!  E was the same way.  I tease Tyler and say they got the Anderson head because he has a big head too. :)  He just teases back and says at least they'll be smarter.  Hey whatever works right?

I love this dress! So cute!

You wouldn't be able to tell, but L loves to smile at people.  She is such a happy baby.  She gets to intrigued by the camera that she refuses to look at you and smile.  Silly girl!
Doctor also confirmed that she is teething (yikes!) so he sucks on EVERYTHING!  Anything that gets about 2 inches from her mouth automatically gets put INTO her mouth.
She is definitely a mama's girl...much to Tyler's dismay.  He can hold her in the same position I do and she will still cry until I hold her.
She has started that screech crying.  You know the one I mean!  It gets very annoying.  Tyler blames his deafness on her!
She is still a good sleeper...as long as she is in her bed and E doesn't open her mouth.  Nighttime is very blissful.
She is also a snuggly baby.  Which I LOVE!!!  Especially since E was NEVER snuggly!!  It is so nice!
Anyway, she's cute and adorable and we couldn't imagine our life without our little bug! :)

Happy Birthday!

Sorry for the onslaught of posts, but a lot of stuff happened in the last few weeks so I'm trying to space it out as much as possible without getting behind!
So, also while in Utah my eldest had her second birthday!
She was very excited. Can't you tell?

Did I mention how hard it is to take a picture of her?  Unless you are holding a  can of whipping cream (which I discovered AFTER her birthday)

This was by far one of her favorite presents.  A bike from Grandpa Anderson!
Unfortunately it wouldn't fit in any of our suitcases, so she'll just have to wait until we move back sometime this year!

She had more fun building a tower with the presents (and knocking it down) than she did opening them!!

L's favorite part was the balloons.  I get tempted sometimes to just go out and buy one so she'll be quiet for a little while!

Since we were in Utah over her birthday we didn't really bring her presents (well one or two) so that we didn't have to bring them back.  Suitcase space is very precious.  So when we got back home we celebrated her birthday again.

E LOVES to help in the kitchen so we wanted to get her a kitchen set for her birthday, but they are so expensive.  I would love to have built one, as is the trend now days, but we don't have a yard or a garage to do that.  So one day I was just looking out the window and found this little beauty sitting next to the dumpster.  Yes the dumpster.  We went and checked it out and aside from a few crayon scribbles it was in very good condition, so we brought it in and cleaned/disinfected it!  I was very proud of my thrifty-ness!

I had also made her a quiet book like a year ago, but made it a little too advanced.  So she got it THIS year for her birthday!

Anway, we love our little munchkin.  She is so loving, stubborn and has a lot of spunk!

And we love her very much!

Blessing Day

We blessed L on the 29th so most of our family and friends could be there.  It was so nice to see everyone and feel their love and support for us and L.
E is not very cooperative when it comes to taking pictures.

Our awesome friends, the Potters!!

Tyler's dad.  We were so happy he was able to come up and be in the circle!

My parents...

I love this picture.  My dad was ready to be done, mom was directing somebody, E was beyond ready to be done and Tyler was barely hanging on! Ha!!

a little better...

Her super cute dress!  I love it!  Kinda reminds me of my wedding dress is a way.  Maybe that's why I picked it!

She mostly just wanted to eat it!  Silly girl!

Love her little feet!

We just love our little princess!
