Just a few pictures of our Easter morning.
I'm lucky to have gotten as many pictures as I did!
Happy Easter!

Patience
More and more everyday I am learning how little patience my daughter has. Lately her favorite toys are sorting blocks and stacking cups. She likes to put the cylinder shapes into each of the stacking cups. In the past few days, however, she has been trying to put the squares in the stacking cups.
This only works in the bigger cups of course, but yesterday she wanted the square in the yellow cup (which is the smallest cup that will fit them) and the square has to go in a certain way (obviously) to fit.
So...this is what happens when E can't get the square in the FIRST time
Ya, I know I'm in trouble.

The Zoo
This past week we spent at my parent's house. We had a lot of fun, but one of the new things we did was go to the zoo!
It was a bit chilly, but we still got a see some fun animals (despite all the construction too!)
Monkeys, and Rhinos
(This one is the boy rhino, they said you could tell because his horns are rounded since he's more rough and likes to run into things. The girl's was very pointy and "dainty")
and Elephants
I thought the baby one was so cute!
although I think E liked the statue ones better
and tigers...well one tiger
again, E liked the statue better
Tyler might have too :)
These were my favorite. I don't remember what they are called, but some sort of monkey...I think
and Tyler's second favorite...the snakes
Thankfully E wasn't all that interested in them
The rooster was E's most intriguing animal. It sat and "cock-a-doodle-doo"ed at her and she just stared at it, occasionally nervously laughing. It was really quite entertaining.
E's favorite animal was this type of cat (again I can't remember the name), but it would walk back and forth and she's just sit and watch it for several minutes.
Too bad both mommy and daddy are allergic!
E's favorite thing at the zoo by far though was Grandma. She didn't really care about the animals, she just cared if Grandma was holding her. She also has nothing to do with anyone except Grandma (or Tilly)...not even me!
:( Although sometimes I'll admit it's nice!
She's definitely Grandma's girl!

And seals and sea lions
(They were my favorite. We got there as the trainers came out so we got to see them do fun tricks!)
and bears (real ones, not just statues)although I think E liked the statue ones better

We also saw the giraffes

HELP!
Help! Please! (I'm trying to sound desperate here)
So I have this extremely cranky child (do you want her?). She wakes up cranky and stays cranky until nap time and the wakes up cranky again and stays cranky until bedtime. All I hear ALL DAY LONG is whining and crying and just plain crankiness and I have NO IDEA what to do! I am at my wit's end...some days barely keeping it together (being pregnant doesn't really help the situation). So if you know what is wrong with my child (besides teething...I've considered that option believe me and still not quite sure it is teething) please give words of wisdom! :)
And if you know how to get a child to eat and drink better I would appreciate that advice too! :)
